From Vision to Reality: Financing the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (Invite only)

The MENA region holds a striking paradox: while it collectively holds over $4 trillion in sovereign wealth fund capital, it is largely deployed outside the region, with the result that intra-MENA trade and job creation lag behind every other global region. This session builds on the breakthrough Regional Infrastructure Finance Workshop at the December 2025 Milken Institute Middle East and Africa Summit in Abu Dhabi. At that meeting, sovereign wealth funds, DFIs, asset managers, and infrastructure operators identified concrete barriers to cross-border investment—and committed to specific actions to overcome them. Now we advance the agenda by focusing on IMEC, the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor announced at the 2023 G20 Summit as the most ambitious cross-border infrastructure program of our generation.
