Glenn Yago

Glenn Yago is Senior Fellow and Founder of the Financial Innovation Labs at the Milken Institute, and Senior Director of the Milken Innovation Center at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute. Over two decades, his Labs and training program has conducted more than 60 engagements across six continents, generating over $3 billion in innovative investment capital for underserved markets globally.The Center and Lab he directs in Israel function as a development finance field school, training post-graduate Fellows in innovative finance practice. His research — supported by the National Science Foundation, Ford, Google, Gilbert, Rockefeller, Rothschild, and Gates Foundations — has advanced capital access for entrepreneurs and impact projects worldwide. His latest book, co-authored with Franklin Allen of Imperial College London, is Advanced Introduction to Financial Innovation (Edward Elgar, 2026). Yago is Visiting Professor and Dean's Senior Fellow at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and UC Berkeley.
