The Ann Theodore Foundation (ATF), in partnership with Milken Institute Strategic Philanthropy’s Science Philanthropy Accelerator for Research and Collaboration (SPARC), is accepting applications from independent researchers for the second cycle of one of its funding programs, ATF Learning Opportunities in Medicine and Sarcoidosis (LOMAS), through Monday, October 26, 2026.

ATF-LOMAS supports early-career investigators interested in studying the inflammatory disorder sarcoidosis. “Early-career” is defined as being within the first five years of an independent faculty appointment. Awardees will receive up to USD$200,000 over two years for research projects focused on the biology, epidemiology, or clinical care of sarcoidosis, and each awardee will be paired with a faculty mentor. Applicants are encouraged to submit optional letters of intent by Thursday, July 23, 2026.
