Petra Freddi is a managing director of Europe and leads the Milken Institute’s European efforts from London. She is responsible for developing impactful, mission-centric programs and events, and deepening engagement with Milken Institute’s network, including financial institutions, investment funds, corporations, and individual philanthropists.

Perry Wong is managing director, China at the Milken Institute. He specializes in analyzing the structure, industry mix, development, and public policies of a regional economy. His more recent work focuses on regional economic development in greater China and other parts of Asia.

Marjorie Josaphat is the head of human resources for the Milken Institute.

Cara Altimus, PhD is a managing director on the Science Philanthropy Accelerator for Research and Collaboration (SPARC) team at Milken Institute Strategic Philanthropy, leading the science and health innovation portfolio. A PhD neuroscientist, Altimus advises individual philanthropists and foundations on the state of research for various areas including neurodegenerative disease and mental health, identifying opportunities where their capital can make the biggest impact.

Jeff Valliere oversees the development of fully integrated, strategic initiatives that support the mission, vision, and values of the Milken Institute.

As Chief Growth Officer and Executive Vice President of the Milken Institute, Sarah Sandler drives the organization’s global expansion strategy, delivering measurable results across new markets, driving revenue growth, and stakeholder engagement.

Martha (Marty) Mazzone is head of technology and general counsel for the Milken Institute.  Previously serving as general counsel and chief operating officer of the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream.

William (Bill) Lee is chief economist at the Milken Institute. He leads the Institute’s effort to develop collaborative policies to improve access to and the functioning of capital markets, strengthen financial stability and the soundness of financial institutions, and foster global macroeconomic, financial, and regulatory conditions to bolster job creation.
