Nadia Penrod,PhD, is an associate director on the Science Philanthropy Accelerator for Research and Collaboration (SPARC) team at Milken Institute Strategic Philanthropy. In this role, she leverages her expertise as an interdisciplinary scientist in biomedicine and informatics to identify high-impact opportunities for philanthropic investment that promote science for the public good and have the potential to transform health.

Sylvie Raver is a senior director on the Science Philanthropy Accelerator for Research and Collaboration (SPARC) team at Milken Institute Strategic Philanthropy. Raver applies her expertise in neuroscience, neurodegenerative disease, mental health, and biomedical research to identify opportunities for philanthropic investments that can have a transformative impact on medical research and health.

Victoria A. Cargill, MD, is a senior advisor on the Public Health team at the Milken Institute.

Anita Totten, a senior associate on the Public Health team at the Milken Institute, provides project and research support for the team’s chronic disease and prevention, mental health, and health equity strategic pillars of work. She actively champions the role of employers in whole-person health through projects that advance racial equity and mental health system changes, employer-sponsored insurance innovation, obesity care modernization, and investments in digital health for substance use disorders.

Fernando Torres-Gil is director of the Center for Policy Research on Aging at the Luskin School of Public Affairs at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he is also a professor of social welfare and public policy. He is a leading spokesperson on demographics, aging and public policy.

Rodney Slater is a partner with Squire Patton Boggs, co-leading the law firm’s transportation, shipping and logistics practice. A former U.S. secretary of transportation, Slater helps clients integrate their interests in the overall vision for the transportation system of the 21st Century, an extension of his work for the federal government promoting a safer, more efficient, environmentally sound and sustainable worldwide transportation infrastructure.

Andrew J. Scott is professor of economics at London Business School, having previously held positions at Oxford University, London School of Economics, and Harvard University. His work focuses on the economics of longevity, and he is the co-author of “The 100-Year Life” and “The New Long Life.”

Jennifer Molinsky is Project Director of the Housing an Aging Society Program and a Lecturer at the Graduate School of Design. As Project Director, Jennifer leads research exploring the housing challenges facing an aging population, including affordability, accessibility and safety in the home, community livability, and connections between housing, services, and health.

Becca Levy is professor of epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health and professor of psychology at Yale University. Her research explores psychosocial factors that influence elders' cognitive and physical functioning as well as their longevity.

Lynn Goldman is the Michael and Lori Milken dean at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University.
