Shane Liddelow is an assistant professor in the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Liddelow’s basic research focuses on the role of non-neuronal cells in neuroinflammation that leads to neurodegeneration in diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and ALS.

Clotilde Lagier-Tourenne is an associate professor of neurology at the Massachusetts General Institute for Neurodegeneration. Lagier-Tourenne’s lab focuses on basic science and uses a combination of genomic approaches across multiple model systems (animal models, neurons from patients, and post-mortem tissue) to identify mechanisms underlying ALS and frontotemporal dementia.

Steve Finkbeiner is director of the Center for Systems and Therapeutics and the Taube/Koret Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research at Gladstone Institutes. Finkbeiner’s research is broadly focused across many neurodegenerative and psychiatric diseases.

Lucie Bruijn serves as the therapeutic area biomarker lead for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at Novartis UK.

Athena Rae Roesler is a director on the Public Health team at Milken Institute Health, where she leads a portfolio of work focused on prevention and chronic disease.

Sarah Wells Kocsis is a senior director at the Milken Institute, where she oversees the Public Health programmatic portfolio, focusing on mental health, prevention, chronic disease, health equity, and infrastructure, and is responsible for day-to-day operations.

Sabrina Spitaletta has been at the Milken Institute since 2017. She leads the work focused on the role of employers in public health and develops strategic collaborations across sectors and industries to advance whole-person health and performance at work. Spitaletta designed and created the Employer Action Exchange, a platform that advances employer priorities and insights with specific actions that impact employees, communities, and businesses. 

Madelyn McLaughlin is an associate on the public health team at the Milken Institute.

Paul is currently President, 1Rx DigiPharm Advisory, LLC and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Cormedix, a company harnessing taurolidine technology to combat vascular infections. He is also on the Board of Directors and CMO for Phesi, a company applying proprietary statistical platforms and web-based analytics to optimize clinical trial design and execution in oncology, neurodegenerative disease, and rare diseases.

Glorimar Aragon is an associate director on the Environmental and Social Innovation team at Milken Institute Strategic Philanthropy. In her role, Aragon advises individual philanthropists and philanthropic families on opportunities where capital can make the most significant impact.
