Sabrina Spitaletta

Sabrina Spitaletta is a senior director on the public health team at Milken Institute Health. Spitaletta oversees operations for the mental health, prevention and chronic disease, and health equity programs. She leads the work focused on the role of employers in prioritizing whole-person health and develops stakeholder collaborations across sectors. Before joining the Institute, Spitaletta was head of corporate relations and engagement at Children’s Health Fund, where she built the framework for organizational strategic goal setting, cultivated thought leadership, and broadened the corporate community’s awareness of the fund’s access to quality care, policy, and advocacy work for children in under-resourced communities in the US.

In her 15 years at Sanofi US, Spitaletta held leadership roles in corporate affairs and human resources, which included overseeing corporate responsibility programs and leading US philanthropic foundation investments to advance prevention and comprehensive health. Additionally, she managed employee-facing efforts involving wellness engagement, employee political action and grassroots civic engagement, and organizational performance management and development. She started her career at Lehman Brothers as part of the Analyst Investment Banking program management and recruitment team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology, and organizations, behavior and management from Brown University and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University. Spitaletta serves as a member of several advisory councils, including the President’s Strategic Advisory Council for the Brown University School of Public Health, the National Advisory Council for HOSA Future Health Professionals, CHC: Creating Healthier Communities, and Project Healthy Minds.
