Employers are uniquely positioned to drive internal and external change and meaningful outcomes for employees, their businesses, and surrounding communities through four key levers captured in the Milken Institute Employer Action Exchange (EAE) framework: organizational culture, employee benefits, community and business investments, and industry and sector standards that challenge the status quo.
At the Future of Health Summit in November 2025, the EAE convened employers for an invite-only discussion, “Employer Priorities in Health,” anchored in the EAE’s foundational research. During this session, moderated by Sabrina Spitaletta, senior director, Milken Institute Health, leaders from Northwell Health, Lockheed Martin, The Hartford, and The CEO Roundtable on Cancer—representing more than 244,000 employees—explored how employers are uniquely defining, prioritizing, and advancing health for employees, their businesses, and surrounding communities. Employer Priorities: Advancing Organizational and Employee Health identifies key themes from the discussion and actionable insights relevant to employers, regardless of their industry.
