250 years since the United States fought its way out of the British Empire, inspired by ideas of freedom from revolutionary thinkers on both sides of the Atlantic, the Transatlantic relationship continues to shape our world today. From security to sports, fashion to food and philosophy, the exchange of ideas across the ocean continues to both constitute and reinvent ideas of both who we are and what we might be capable of. This panel brings together historians, diplomats, cultural tastemakers, authors and entrepreneurs to chart both the origins of the Transatlantic relationship and where it might go next.
