Andrew Moravcsik

Professor, Politics and Public Affairs and Director, Liechtenstein Institute, Princeton University
Andrew Moravcsik is Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University, where he directs the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination and the EU Program. He also holds appointments at the TU München (Munich) and the European University Institute (Florence). He has published over 150 scholarly works on European integration, international relations theory, human rights, international law and organization, historical methodology and other topics, which have appeared in 18 languages--and current research focuses on the influence of right-wing populist parties on foreign policy. He has published 200 articles and commentaries in the popular press--and serves as Europe review editor for Foreign Affairs magazine. His policy experience includes service as a US government trade negotiator, assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister of Korea, at the European Commission, and as member of various commissions. He has been a professor or senior researcher at Harvard, Columbia, NYU, Penn, University of Chicago, Columbia and research institutes on four continents.
