Realizing Organizational Health and Performance: Untapped Investment for Board Results (Invite only)

-

According to research by Bloomberg Intelligence, companies with “more women on boards draw higher annual returns, between 2 and 5 percent, compared to peers with less gender-diverse boardrooms.” The findings suggest that the inclusion of women on corporate boards, especially of health-care or venture-backed companies, can drive performance, innovation, and more balanced long-term decision-making. This reinforces insights from the Milken Institute Employer Action Exchange (EAE) and Women’s Health Network, indicating that exclusion of people is one of eight risks to the health and performance of organizations. Using the EAE framework, this session will explore how diverse leadership perspectives can shape workplace culture, benefits, policies, investments, and industry standards that give companies a competitive edge. The discussion will highlight how strengthening the talent pipeline from early career through leadership can drive workforce resilience and strengthen business performance. The discussion will provide actionable insights for employers to cultivate talent and build a workforce for the future.
