Mia Jung

Talent Partner, Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe
Mia Jung joined Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS) in 2022 as a Talent Partner within the Healthcare team, where she contributes to executive talent strategy and management to help WCAS's healthcare companies build effective leadership teams. Mia has spent nearly a decade in executive search, connecting talented leaders with leading healthcare organizations. She began this phase of her career at Oxeon, a respected executive search and investment firm, where she worked closely with healthcare organizations, boards, and investors to assemble well-rounded leadership teams. Prior to executive search, Mia held commercial roles in the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries at Merck, Guidant, and Boston Scientific. Mia earned a B.S. in Communications and Business from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and London Business School. Eleven years ago, Mia co-founded Break Into the Boardroom, a program that connects qualified women healthcare executives to board opportunities — closing a visibility gap between C-suite talent and the PE/VC investors who need that expertise in the boardroom. The program has connected 400+ women executives to more than 150 board seats across healthcare, life sciences, and consumer health. Mia serves on the board of The Moth, a nonprofit dedicated to storytelling as an art form, and previously served on the board of the New York Academy of Medicine. She resides in New York City with her husband and two children, where they enjoy sports, performing arts, and traveling.
