-

The Asia-Pacific region is home to some of the most promising advances in cancer care. Countries such as South Korea and Japan have achieved world-leading survival rates through strong national screening programs, advanced infrastructure, and sustained public investment, demonstrating what coordinated action and innovation can achieve. Throughout the region, momentum is growing to build on successes and address persistent gaps in access, early detection, and affordability. Strengthening diagnostic capacity, expanding the health workforce, and advancing sustainable financing models present clear pathways to improving outcomes, particularly in Southeast Asia and other underserved settings. This panel brings together policymakers, clinicians, and innovators to explore how proven strategies, emerging technologies, and cross-sector collaboration can accelerate progress and deliver more equitable, high-quality cancer care for all communities across the Asia-Pacific region.
