For more than two decades, the Milken Institute has been committed to identifying and addressing the many factors that bar marginalized groups from accessing healthcare, education, employment, and financial capital. In many parts of the world, gender is one of the most insurmountable barriers. At the Middle East and Africa Summit in 2020, we convened women from the region to discuss redefining womanhood in the MEA. Since then, the world has faced a global pandemic, an economic downturn, and an international movement for justice, equity, and inclusion. These changes have forced us to think intentionally about the world we wish to live in. Join us for a conversation with women playing fundamental roles in catalyzing change in their home countries and abroad.
