Pandemic-driven expansion in virtual care revealed the potential of homes as hubs for health. The spectrum of opportunities is rapidly growing—from the now-familiar telehealth appointment to cutting-edge passive monitoring technologies that can collect and transmit physiologic data and information about well-being to providers and caregivers. Projections estimate that up to $250 billion in US health-care spending could shift to virtual care. Panelists will look at how we can build on this momentum to improve systems of care as we look to the future.
