Kathleen Gerrity serves as the executive assistant and coordinator for the Africa team within the International pillar at the Milken Institute, based in Washington, DC. In this role, she oversees team operations and coordination, supporting internal and external engagements, project management initiatives, and international events, while providing strategic assistance to senior leadership.

Olenka Ntungane is a senior associate within the International pillar at the Milken Institute, where she supports initiatives that advance financial and economic development across Africa through strategic investment in human and financial capital. She brings more than eight years of experience in international development, having designed and managed programs across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

British A. Robinson is a true changemaker and influencer with a passion for solving some of the world’s most intractable problems.

With over a decade at the Milken Institute, Teresa Whang exemplifies leadership in event planning, VIP relations, and fostering meaningful relationships. As the senior director of strategic initiatives for Milken Institute International, Whang is focused on championing global expansion efforts by identifying ways to build partnerships within the organization, match new opportunities for collaboration with external partners, and customizing meaningful experiences at Milken Institute events.

Brenda Huneycutt, PhD, is a senior director at the Milken Institute, where she oversees Milken Institute Health work internationally across all four Milken Institute Health portfolios – FasterCures, the Future of Aging, Feeding Change, and Public Health.

Sydney Hergan is a senior associate on the Global Market Development team at the Milken Institute, working on the IFC-Milken Institute Capital Markets Program, World Bank-Milken Institute Public Financial Asset Management Program, and Africa Leaders Business Council.

Emily Musil, PhD, is managing director at Milken Institute Strategic Philanthropy, where she leads the Environmental and Social Innovation portfolio.

Carole Biau is a senior director for Global Market Development at the Milken Institute, where she works to inform financial and economic policy across developing and emerging markets. 

Laura Deal Lacey is the Executive Vice President of International at the Milken Institute, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing the Institute’s global initiatives. As the first employee of the Milken Institute in Asia, Deal Lacey was instrumental in establishing its center, programs, and activities in the Asia Pacific region. Over time, her responsibilities expanded to strategically grow the Institute’s presence across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa. A dual citizen of the United States and Brazil, Deal Lacey has lived and worked on four continents. She serves on the board of FWD Insurance (Group) and is a member of the advisory board for The Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics at Singapore Management University.

Esther Krofah is the executive vice president of Milken Institute Health, leading FasterCures, Public Health, the Future of Aging, and Feeding Change. She has extensive experience managing efforts to unite diverse stakeholders to solve critical issues and achieve shared goals that improve patients’ lives.
