Nicole Valentine is the FinTech Senior Director of the Milken Institute’s Finance pillar with over a decade of financial services, international Mergers & Acquisitions, technology, and innovation experience. As the FinTech Director, Nicole explores market innovation and developments, analyzes alternative regulatory approaches, and offers policy recommendations to facilitate FinTech’s responsible development.

David Bohigian is an impact investor with extensive experience in investment, management, government and international development. He manages Pluribus Ventures, an impact fund of funds, with private investments in affordable housing, clean energy, online education, financial services, healthcare research and Veterans.

Cheryl L. Evans, JD, leads the Lifetime Financial Security Program within the Finance pillar at the Milken Institute. She frequently discusses issues related to financial security, lifetime income, enhancing retirement savings, financial education, debt management, the financial security of women, digital investing platforms, financial fraud and scams, and global financial health.

Kristen Fanarakis leads the small business, entrepreneurship, and economic growth initiative within the Milken Institute’s Finance pillar. She focuses on macroeconomic and systemic trends affecting American small businesses and startups, and their implications for the economy and innovation.

Maxwell DeGregorio is an associate director at MI Finance at the Milken Institute. DeGregorio works on the Institute’s FinTech Program, which focuses on access to capital, financial inclusion, compliance, and transparency. He writes the “FinTech in Focus” newsletter and co-programs the Institute’s FinTech content.

Dan Carol is a managing director on the Milken Institute Finance team. He leads Institute programming to accelerate effective deployment and financing of community-scale and climate resilient infrastructure, scale up regional innovation, and scale-up public-private partnerships.
