Jo Ling Kent is an award-winning journalist and CBS News’ senior business & tech correspondent on CBS Sunday Morning, CBS Evening News, and CBS Mornings. She leads coverage of tech, AI, the economy, and business, including news making conversations with the CEOs of Anthropic, Netflix, Starbucks, Uber, OpenAI, Tesla/SpaceX, YouTube star Ms. Rachel, former Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, director Jon M. Chu, and many others. Previously, Jo Ling was NBC News’ business & tech correspondent for six years on TODAY, NBC Nightly News, and Sunday TODAY, where her reporting won an Edward R. Murrow Award. A Mandarin speaker, she was a US Fulbright scholar to China and is based in Los Angeles.
