Diane Re is an assistant professor of environmental health sciences at the Columbia University School of Public Health. Re’s research team focuses on unraveling the environmental triggers and gene-environment interactions that lead to adult-onset neurodegenerative diseases, such as ALS and Parkinson’s disease. Re’s research primarily consists of mechanistic and biomarker studies to improve understanding of the complex interplay between genes and the environment.
