Venezuela’s Opening: Private Capital, Real Risks, and Investible Opportunities (Invite only)

-
REQUEST INVITE

Venezuela’s post‑Maduro transition opens a window to reassess the country as a complex, high‑beta investment thesis. Moving beyond macro narratives, this private session will dissect where, how, and under what conditions capital can be deployed across Venezuela’s emerging opportunity set: from upstream and midstream energy to logistics, consumer goods, financial services, and digital infrastructure. Experts will probe concrete deal structures, residual legal and sanctions risk, questions of title and creditor hierarchy, and the interplay between multilateral engagement and private capital flows. With input from Venezuelan business leaders, global energy CEOs, and policy practitioners, talk will focus on identifying investible niches versus value traps, realistic expectations and timelines, and the frameworks required for institutional investors, strategics, and diaspora capital to take part responsibly in Venezuela’s reconstruction.
