Upending Paradigms: What Leading Looks Like Now

Over the past decade, women—previously often passed over due to sexism and ageism—have risen to the top to lead powerful institutions, from General Motors to Oracle to UPS. The advent of COVID-19, however, has meant that a disproportionately high percentage of women, many of them small business owners or in mid-level corporate positions, have had to put their careers on hold to care for family or other responsibilities. What needs to happen to reverse the COVID-19 "shecession" in the workplace, and how might C-suite women help to restore the momentum of women in business leadership and board positions in the years ahead?
