Richard is the Founder and CEO of Alloy Capital, a Houston- and Mexico City-based private credit firm lending to companies across the Americas. With more than 35 years in private equity and credit, he has invested through both the Asian and Global Financial Crises.
He previously founded PAGF (2005–2024), which built businesses serving Spanish speakers in North America. Earlier, as a Managing Principal of Zephyr Management in New York and Seoul, he led private investments in Asia and Latin America, including Mexican middle-market companies. He began his career at Bankers Trust in New York.
Richard is an independent director of The Mexico Fund (NYSE: MXF), Co-President of the Baker Institute's US-Mexico Center Council, and Chairman of the Board for St. Andrew's School in Delaware. He holds an A.B. from Princeton and is a CFA charterholder.
