Binod Chaudhary

Dr. Binod K. Chaudhary is Chairman of Chaudhary Group and CG Corp Global, a multinational business group built from Nepal with operations in more than 32 countries across five continents. Over more than four decades, he has grown a family enterprise into a diversified global group with more than 200 companies, 260 brands and over 30,000 employees worldwide. He is recognised as Nepal’s first and only Forbes-listed billionaire. At the centre of his entrepreneurial journey is Wai Wai, the instant noodle brand he built into an international consumer brand. His businesses today span food and beverages, hospitality, financial services, telecommunications, infrastructure, energy, cement, real estate, education, mobility and consumer electronics.

Dr. Chaudhary has also served in Nepal’s Constituent Assembly and Parliament and is President Emeritus of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries. He founded the Chaudhary Foundation in 1995, which works across education, healthcare, disaster response and community development. He is the author of Making It Big and Made in Nepal.
