Mr. Dutta is the Co-Founder and CEO of Alphaledger and has over two decades of experience in bond market technology development. Alphaledger is a direct, transparent loan and bond marketplace that streamlines debt financing and increases direct engagement with investors, with a focus on the US municipal market. Since its founding in 2019, Mr. Dutta has been instrumental in mapping the firm’s blockchain regulatory path, shaping the overall product design, and defining the full life cycle of T-Now™ tokenized debt: from origination, T-Now™ settlement, distribution, clearing, and custody on a blockchain platform. Alphaledger is the first firm in the U.S. to record both municipal loans and securities on a blockchain ledger. Prior to Alphaledger, Mr. Dutta held various roles at PIMCO, including managing PIMCO’s participation in the industry's first Yankee CD issuance on JP Morgan’s blockchain platform. He led PIMCO’s ETF, Client Facing, and Credit Platform technology groups, and developed PIMCO’s ~$360 billion mortgage roll book. Mr. Dutta has deep expertise in business operations, technology, strategic planning, and implementing complex and scalable solutions.
