Rashida Jones is President of MSNBC. She is the first Black executive to lead a major television news network. Previously, Jones served as Senior Vice President, NBC News, and MSNBC, where she spearheaded cross-platform coverage, including the coronavirus pandemic, presidential debates, town halls, primaries, and more. Jones won an Emmy for coverage of the Supreme Court’s decision on same-sex marriage and executive produced the most-watched Democratic presidential debate in history during the 2020 election cycle.
