Glenn Yago

Senior Fellow and Founder of the Financial Innovations Labs at the Milken Institute; Senior Director of Milken Innovation Center, and Blum Lab for Developing Economies at the Jerusalem Institute

Glenn Yago is a senior fellow and founder of the Financial Innovations Labs at the Milken Institute and the senior director of the Milken Innovation Center and Blum Lab for Developing Economies at the Jerusalem Institute. His research has contributed to policy innovations fostering the democratization of capital to traditionally underserved markets to finance ideas for sustainable development projects by business and social entrepreneurs around the world. Currently, Yago oversees activities devoted to accelerating Israel's economic growth and global competitiveness through innovative finance,  including the Milken Fellows Program in Jerusalem. 

Yago has worked on projects with the National Science Foundation, Ford Foundation, Google Foundation, Yad Hanadiv (Rothschild Foundation), and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, among others. He is a visiting professor at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the University of California at Berkeley, and the

University of California at San Diego. He is coauthor of Financing the Future: Market-Based Innovations for Growth and many other books, articles, and reports. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
