Annesley Wallace

President and CEO, HOOPP

Annesley Wallace was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) on April 1, 2025. HOOPP is one of Canada’s largest defined benefit pension plans, serving Ontario’s healthcare sector with a mandate to deliver secure, sustainable retirement income to its members. As CEO, Annesley leads the organization’s overall strategy, investment performance, and pension operations to ensure long-term value for members and employers. Prior to joining HOOPP, Annesley was Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Corporate Development and President, Power and Energy Solutions at TC Energy, where she led corporate strategy, capital allocation, and key business segments. Previously, she served as Executive Vice-President and Global Head of Infrastructure at OMERS, overseeing a global portfolio of approximately C$34 billion across energy, digital, and transportation sectors. Earlier in her career, she held roles at SNC-Lavalin in engineering and project management across major infrastructure and energy projects. Annesley holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Engineering from Queen’s University, and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. She is a Professional Engineer (Ontario) and a recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40.
