CEO and Co-chairman, Warner Records Group

Aaron Bay-Schuck is the CEO and Co-Chairman of the Warner Records Group. Recognized for signing and developing genre-diverse artists, he has led the label through a transformative period of growth, cultural impact, and substantial commercial success during his tenure.

Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson, a veteran of RCA Records, were named CEO/Co-Chairman and COO/Co-Chairman of Warner Records, respectively in 2018.  In 2025, Bay-Schuck and Corson’s roles expanded from leading Warner Records US to leading the Warner Records Group, composed of Warner Records US, Warner Records Nashville, and Warner Records UK.

Bay-Schuck has focused on signing artists early and developing long-term careers. His major breakthrough came from the discovery, development, and signing of then-unknown Bruno Mars in 2009, who under Bay-Schuck's watch, grew into one of the most successful artists of his generation. At Warner Records, he signed Teddy Swims before he released an original song, Benson Boone before he'd put out any music, and Zach Bryan while he was still serving in the Navy. Eleven Warner artists, including Sombr this year, have scored Best New Artist Grammy nominations since 2018 and enduring superstars including Dua Lipa, Michael Bublé, Cher, Green Day, Linkin Park, and Red Hot Chili Peppers released chart-topping albums. Teddy Swims' "Lose Control" hit #1 in the US and Benson Boone's "Beautiful Things" hit #1 worldwide in 2024; Both singles remained in the Top 10 through the end of 2025. Zach Bryan, whose Warner debut was certified 4x platinum, set a US concert attendance record with 112,408 fans at Michigan Stadium.

Bay-Schuck and Corson have appeared on the Billboard Power 100 and Variety 500 every year from 2019 through 2026. In 2022, they won a Producers Guild Award as executive producers of the documentary Tom Petty, Somewhere You Feel Free: The Making of Wildflowers. In 2024, they were named Variety Hitmakers Executives of the Year and appeared on the Billboard Country Power Players list in 2024, 2025 and 2026. Bay-Schuck said in a 2024 interview: "We always believed that patience and commitment were going to be the keys to long-term success for this label. And we've never wavered from that."
