Head of Ventures Mubadala Ibrahim has led Mubadala Ventures since 2016. Before leading Mubadala Ventures, Ibrahim served from 2014 to 2016 as the Chief Strategy Officer at GlobalFoundries, a global leading semiconductor company. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2014, he was Executive Director at Mubadala leading their investments in technology globally. Mubadala is a UAE sovereign wealth fund with over $220B in assets under mgmt. which invests globally in everything from aerospace and defense to healthcare, metals and semiconductors. Ibrahim studied Management Information Systems at Northeastern University and business at USC's Marshall School of Business.
