Alex Silver

Partner, P2 Capital Partners; Chairman, EB Research Partnership

Alex Silver is a founding partner at P2 Capital Partners, a private investment firm based in New York City. Alex is also the founder and chairman of EB Research Partnership, the largest global non-profit dedicating to treating and curing Epidermolysis Bullosa. Prior to founding P2, Alex held senior positions at Soros Fund Management, Karsch Capital Management and started his career at Lazard Freres. Alex currently serves on the Columbia University Medical Center Children's Board, Faster Cures Non-Profit Council and as a Director on the board of Blackhawk Network, Inc. Alex previously served on the NAIMS Advisory Council of the National Institutes of Health. Alex received a Master's in Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from Brown University where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
