Victor Gomez is a junior at California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO), where he is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in AgriBusiness with a minor in Agriculture Education. He is a recent graduate from Wonderful College Prep Academy in Delano, California, where he was part of the first cohort to graduate from the Wonderful Agriculture Career Prep (Ag Prep) program with an Associates of Science Degree in Agricultural Business. During high school, Victor spent over 200 hours interacting with ag professionals and completing job shadowing within The Wonderful Company’s family of businesses. He attributes his experiences in the Ag Prep program as the reason why he decided to pursue an education and career in Agriculture. He eventually hopes to start his own farm labor contracting company, teach agriculture to students, and serve as a dean of students at a local high school.
