Vin Gupta, MD, is Chief Medical Officer of Amazon Pharmacy, where he focuses on making the pharmacy experience more accessible and affordable. In addition to his role as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Gupta is a practicing pulmonologist, affiliate faculty at the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, and a Major in the USAF Medical Reserve Corps, serving as the Officer-in-Charge of the Critical Care Air Transport Capability at Joint-Base Lewis McChord. Additionally, Vin serves as a medical analyst for MSNBC and NBC News. Vin received his BA from Princeton University, MD from Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and MSt in International Relations from the University of Cambridge. He completed his clinical training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and has active board certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and Critical Care Medicine.
