Paulo Guedes

PhD in economics from the University of Chicago. He was a professor at PUC-RJ, Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA). Founder of Banco Pactual (BTG-Pactual), Abril Educação, Faculdades Ibmec and Instituto Millenium. He joined boards of directors of large companies. Paulo Guedes was also a columnist for the Folha de S. Paulo and O Globo newspapers and the Exame and Época magazines.
