Ms. Shiho Azuma

CEO, Lily MedTech Inc.

Shiho Azuma was born in Japan, in 1982. She studied physics and aerospace engineering in university. In 2009, she entered the graduate university for advance studies as a Ph.D student to study space and astronautical science in JAXA, where she researched Magnetic Plasma Sail. However, right after admission, she lost her father by unexpected death. Because of economic reason caused by it, she dropped out of the university before getting a Ph.D. She worked for JEOL resonance which is the company of manufacturing, development & research of scientific and measuring instruments such as NMR(Nuclear Magnetic Resonance). She was engaged in development of the next generation of NMR in both development and production divisions After that, her husband, a researcher of medical ultrasound diagnosis and treatment system in the University of Tokyo, invited her to launch a business together. Shiho started up a business in 2006, to save young ladies, mothers and their families with her personal motivation that she lost her mother to brain cancer when she was a high school student. Lily MedTech, Inc., fund-raised about 9 million usd at the begining of September in 2019.
