Mrs. Marisa Chearavanont is a philanthropist and social entrepreneur whose work spans contemporary art, food, education, and innovation. Through her foundations and social enterprises, she champions sustainable philanthropy—a model of giving that empowers both recipients and givers.

She founded the BUILD Foundation to advance education and digital literacy for underserved communities. Through Chef Cares Foundation, she promotes gastronomy with compassion, bringing together leading and Michelin-starred chefs to create social and cultural impact through food. In partnership with 7-Eleven Thailand and Charoen Pokphand Foods, Chef Cares offers nutritious ready-to-eat meals nationwide at affordable prices, with 100% of its profits supporting social and cultural initiatives.

Mrs. Chearavanont’s commitment to cultural philanthropy inspired the creation of Bangkok Kunsthalle and Khao Yai Art Forest in 2024 and 2025, respectively, where art connects people, culture, nature, and healing. In 2026, Khao Yai Art Forest was named one of the World’s Greatest Places by TIME magazine.

Across all her initiatives, Mrs. Chearavanont advances a vision of philanthropy that restores dignity, creates opportunity, and fosters independence. She also serves as Special Advisor to the Senior Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group.
