Ramesh is CEO & Co-Founder of MiyaHealth, a Strategic and VC-backed technology firm that aims to improve Health Insurance and the insured experience in Asia and Europe. He is also Chairman & Co-Founder of Hisential which creates high-end clinics and luxury products for men. Prior to this, Ramesh was CFO and COO at Fullerton Health one of Asia’s largest Managed Care and Primary Care Companies. He helped drive organic and inorganic expansion as well as executed Asia’s first guaranteed bond and the region’s first perpetual bond by a healthcare company. Ramesh was also formerly a Managing Director and Head of Asian Healthcare for Barclays (Hong Kong), where he founded a leading Asian healthcare investment banking franchise. He was also an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley and an Associate Director at UBS, specializing in Healthcare Equities. He trained as a physician, working in the National Health Service (NHS UK), where he published research that helped to change the management of breast cancer and oral cancer. Ramesh is Vice Chairman of Warsaw listed Bioton SA and is on the board of the non-profit Its Raining Raincoats in Singapore. Dr Ramesh graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery where he was a Commonwealth/Chevening scholar. He also holds an MBA in Finance from the London Business School.
