Hoon Lee
Chief Investment Officer, Korea Investment Corporation
Hoon Lee was appointed Chief Investment Officer on August of 2022. Previously, Mr. Lee served as the head of KIC’s Investment Strategy & Innovation Division and Public Market Division. Since joining KIC in 2014, he has also led the Asset Allocation Group, Investment Strategy Group and Research Group. Prior to KIC, Mr. Lee worked as an equity analyst at Korea Investment Securities, Woori Investment Securities and Samsung Securities and as a portfolio manager at Macquarie-IMM asset management and Daewoo Capital Management. Mr. Lee has a B.A. in economics from Sogang University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a CFA charterholder.
