Pak Wimboh Santoso

Wimboh Santoso is the Chairman of Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK), a government institution that performs regulatory and supervisory duties over financial services activities in banking, capital markets, and non-bank financial industries sectors in Indonesia. As a finance and banking professional with more than 30 years experience, Wimboh has held many notable positions. Previously, Wimboh served as President Comissioner in PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (2015-2017), Executive Director in International Monetary Fund (2013-2015), Head of Indonesia Central Bank Representative of New York (2012-2013) and Director of Banking Research and Regulation in Indonesia Central Bank (2010-2012). Wimboh also has been teaching at leading universities in Indonesia, for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. He has produced considerable achievements and published distinguished journal articles. Recently, he was inaugurated as Adjunct Professor for Risk Management Study of Faculty of Economics and Business at the State University of Surakarta.
