Mr. Lanford Liu is Chairman & CEO of Delta Electronics Capital Company (DECC), a wholly owned subsidiary and the investment arm of Delta Electronics Inc., a power management industry leader listed on TAIEX. Lanford joined Delta in 2000 and has guided the group's M&A and investment activities in the last twelve years, leading a team of professionals with expertise in engineering, operations, finance and compliance. Lanford was general manager of Delta's display business and also initiated Delta's technology advisory board, leveraging both academic and industry luminaries in advancing Delta's product portfolio. Prior to joining Delta Lanford worked for Emerson Electric of St. Louis, Missouri, in strategic planning and managing business development activities in the Greater China region. Lanford has served as board director for both public and private companies in the US and Asia. He was trained as a telecommunication engineer and obtained his master's degree from Columbia University as well as MBA from University of Southern California.
