Julie Hood helps businesses address pressing challenges in today's fast-moving and uncertain environment, enabling companies to better manage their capital across strategy, corporate finance, buying and integrating, selling and separating and reshaping results. As EY Global Deputy Vice Chair - Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), her teams span more than 90 countries. She advises clients on transaction strategies across the power and utilities, financial services, industrial and consumer products, infrastructure and government sectors globally. Prior to this role, Julie led EY TAS in Oceania. Julie is also committed to increasing the numbers of women in corporate finance and entrepreneurs worldwide, helping UN Women develop the Innovation Principles of their Global Innovation Coalition for Change initiative, championing the global EY Corporate Finance Woman of the Year program and supporting a number of women entrepreneurial businesses. Before joining EY, Julie worked in the higher education sector and ran her own design consulting and construction business. Her interests include sailing: She is currently in training as crew for two legs of the Clipper Round the World Ocean Sailing Race in FY19/20.
