John Ryan

John Ryan is Director General for Emerging Payments Association Asia, responsible for Projects, Partnerships and Policy. Additionally he is the co-founder of Suite2Go, a business that supports International Fintech firms to grow their business in Asia. Dublin City University is where he studied his undergraduate in Accounting and Finance, majoring in technology, and also a post graduate diploma in IT for Accountants. He is a qualified management accountant. John has worked the majority of his working career with Fintech in Australia, as the regional head of strategy and business development. During this time he helped major financial institutions to solve complex IT challenges. He has lived for the past 19 years in Australia, with his wife and 3 children and took the jump as a self starting entrepreneur in 2016. Very much a contributor to various fintech and paytech working groups and committees, including ASX CHESS Replacement and Milken Institute Asia. With Emerging Payments Association Asia he is involved with regional workshops and events, passionate about collaboration in the payments industry. John is responsible for the EPA Asia Open Banking Asia Project.
