Hugh Andrew, Managing Director, is responsible for the asset management, leasing and marketing, and property management of the BlackRock's Asia Property Fund portfolios. He also manages Project Directors for assets under development. Mr. Andrew's service with the firm dates back to 2010, including his years with MGPA, which was acquired by BlackRock in 2013. Prior to joining MGPA, he was the Chief Representative for Hongkong Land in India and before that held a number of senior positions in Hong Kong both in the Asset and Property Management Divisions of Hongkong Land. He has also worked as a service provider in Hong Kong with Vigers and First Pacific Davies and in London with Healey & Baker. Mr. Andrew has been an active member of Corenet Global and has held positions on the Asia Regional Council and the Global Board. He is also an Emeritus Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is the Secretary of The Junior Rugby Committee Singapore. Mr. Andrew was educated at The Duke of York's Royal Military Academy, Kent, United Kingdom. Hugh is a keen rugby fan, junior Coach, qualified referee and the Secretary of the Junior Rugby Committee Singapore.
