Founder and CEO, ACIRAH Health
Bridgette McCullough

In 2021, Bridgette R McCullough founded ACIRAH, a digital platform with proprietary health data collected in one of the largest databases of its kind focused on Black women and building trusted relationships with the clinical research community. Bridgette is dedicated to making clinical trials reflect the population of the U.S. and eliminating recruitment disparities of Black women by using digital technology that establishes a direct pathway to clinical trials. After changing careers, Bridgette graduated with honors from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2021 and earned IRB Human Subject certification. She is also an expert bioethicist specializing in clinical trials and biotechnological innovations from CRISPR/cas9 to CIMAVax. Her legal expertise lies in regulatory policies in clinical trials. Bridgette serves on think tanks and is building relationships with level R1 research hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and policy stakeholders to increase the percentage of Black women in clinical research. With an esteemed background as a scholar of antiquities and art history, this provides insight into societal practices and how it has impacted Black women especially in clinical research spaces. Bridgette is focused on access to greater health, longevity, and lifespan for Black women, and the greater economic increase that comes from that access.
