Ming is PAC’s Founding and Managing Partner. 2022 Milken Institute Asia Summit Speaker, 2022 Milken Institute Middle East and Africa Summit Speaker.Prior to PAC, Ming accumulated over 13 years of investment banking and PE experience, including serving as the Chief Representative of UBS AG’s Beijing Office, a member of Morgan Stanley’s IBD and Firm Management Department, and the key architect of the Carlyle Group’s LP network in China. Ming has extensive experience with China’s regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and sovereign wealth funds. Hailed by top capital market leaders as China’s private market investor most knowledgeable on global capital markets and China’s national policy & regulation, Ming regularly advises institutional investors, investment banks, and policy organizations around the world. Ming was selected by Preqin as the only fund manger from China to author reports on the state of China’s private equity and venture capital markets for six consecutive features. In 2021 alone, Ming’s insights on China’s capital markets and regulation were quoted over 20 times by international finance media including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, CNBC, and Reuters. Ming obtained his BA from Renmin University in Beijing and MPA from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs (“PSIA”). Prior to Princeton, Ming had served as a foreign service officer at China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for three years.
