Ashton Kutcher is an entrepreneur, investor, actor and philanthropist. Kutcher has been investing in transformative venture-stage technologies for nearly two decades. He co-founded two VC firms, A-Grade Investments in 2010 and Sound Ventures in 2015, with partners Guy Oseary and Effie Epstein. Today, these firms manage over $1 billion in assets, across six top quartile funds. Sound Ventures is deploying a dedicated AI Fund, investing in late-stage venture companies catalyzing generative artificial intelligence, as well as an early stage venture fund. Across funds, investments include OpenAI, Airbnb, Uber, Flexport, Brex, Robinhood, GitLab, Airtable and Affirm among others. Kutcher is an active and sought-after technology investor with proven expertise in product and user experience. Kutcher has been named one of TIME magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World,” as well as being honored by Vanity Fair ‘s “New Establishment List,” which identifies the top 50 of an innovative new breed of buccaneering visionaries, engineering prodigies and entrepreneurs. Twice, Kutcher was named one of Forbes magazine’s “World’s Most Powerful Celebrities,” as well as one of Fast Company magazine’s “Most Creative People.” Kutcher is also the co-founder of THORN: Digital Defenders of Children, a non-profit which builds technology to fight the sexual exploitation of children.
