Julia Palatovska, a Ukrainian-American entrepreneur, is a pioneer in the mobile gaming industry and a cofounder and CEO of Dorian, a platform enabling comics artists and fiction writers to create interactive games. Julia’s first job in games was at G5 Games where she led the publishing of mobile games tailored for women, overseeing a portfolio of successful titles that contributed to the company's Nasdaq IPO. She later continued to shape the industry by investing in early stage game startups with London Venture Partners. Today Julia is on a mission to democratize game making and empower Dorian creators to build new franchises and cult followings by producing content that disrupts traditional games industry norms. As one of very few women leading a venture-backed gaming company, Julia takes pride in the fact that 90% of game creators on Dorian are women and nonbinary people. These new game makers, empowered to share their talents globally for the first time through Dorian, are directly enriching the diversity of the gaming and entertainment industries.
