Co-Founder, Well+Good
Alexia Brue

ALEXIA BRUE is the co-founder of Well+Good, the pioneering wellness media company that she built without any outside capital from inception to over ten million monthly visitors. Alexia served as CEO where she was responsible for the revenue and profit, and the sales & marketing teams reported to her. Anticipating the coming challenges in the digital media space, Alexia built out diverse revenue streams, launching a profitable events business that annually produced 40+ events and 4+ destination wellness retreats, and published a best-selling cookbook. In 2018, Alexia sold the company to Leaf Group (now Graham Holdings), where she served as SVP, Media and was responsible for the P&L for the over $50 million Fitness and Wellness Group.

With more than 20 years experience in wellness as a journalist, digital media founder and executive, investor and board director, Alexia has a deep expertise in evaluating wellness trends and businesses, as well as understanding the future trajectory of the $4.4 trillion wellness economy.

Currently, Alexia sits on the Board of Directors of AnaOno and Wellness in the Schools, and serves as an advisor to the Global Wellness Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to empower wellness worldwide by educating public and private sectors about preventative health and wellness.

She received her BA in Classics from Grinnell College, as well as her MS in Journalism from Columbia University’s School of Journalism.
