The societal and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic show how urgent it is that we invest in public health infrastructure to anticipate and respond to emerging infectious diseases. Growing threats include, especially, the "silent pandemic" of antimicrobial-resistant diseases—from hospital-borne infections to STIs. This private session will discuss how we can mobilize public and private financial tools to boost our preparedness and resiliency to head off these threats.
