Expanding Prosperity: Corporate Philanthropy in the Asia Pacific (Invite only)

-

At its best, corporate philanthropy builds resiliency and expands prosperity in the communities where companies operate, contributing to the long-term sustainability of businesses through the creation of shared value. Many of the most successful companies in the Asia Pacific region have established corporate foundations or social impact teams with exactly these goals in mind. But running a corporate philanthropy is not always straightforward. It requires balancing business imperatives with philanthropic values, taking the long-view on impact, and building meaningful partnerships with community organizations. This session will dive into the challenges and the promise of corporate philanthropy by bringing together a select group of corporate foundation leaders from the region and around the world. Together, the group will explore how their roles are evolving, what common challenges they are experiencing, and what solutions are emerging.
