Riya Gavaskar

Riya Gavaskar is a senior associate in the Finance pillar at the Milken Institute. She is a member of the Lifetime Financial Security Program team. She focuses on financial education and engagement, retirement planning, women’s financial security, debt management, innovative developments in investing platforms, and advancing financial wellness in the US and globally. Prior to joining the Institute, Gavaskar worked at the World Bank for three years and completed internships with the United Nations, the US Agency for International Development, and the Brookings Institution. She holds a master of public administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, where she focused on financial inclusion and international development, and a bachelor of arts in international affairs from George Washington University.
